“Home” – Phillip Phillips

Home Phillip Phillips

Hold on to me as we go
As we roll down this unfamiliar road.
Although this wave is stringing us along,
Just know you’re not alone
‘Cause I’m gonna make this place your home.

“Superman” – Joe Brooks

If I could be a superman,
I’d fly you to the stars and back again,
Cause everytime you touch my hand
and feel my powers running through your veins.

But I can only write this song
And tell you that I’m not that strong,
Cause I’m no superman.
I hope you like me as I am…

Chloe & Chleo (A Novel) – Synopsis

“Before I fell asleep, I was contemplating what my strange feeling for Chloe could possibly mean. The next day when I woke up, I realized I was falling in love with my own sister.” Chleo Solaire Jr.

Chloe & Chleo
Chleo Solaire Jr. is a young contemporary artist and his works are currently displayed in a gallery. On the third day of the exhibition, he comes to deliver another painting – which is not his own work – but of Chloe, his twin sister who has no way to come to his first ever solo exhibit… his twin sister whom he has loved, not because she’s his sibling, but because she’s a woman.

He’s enthralled to see many visitants of the exhibit, but little do these people know that behind those drawings and paintings lay the story of his former life. Each masterpiece narrates all the artist’s struggles to chase his dream… and a story of true love not considered correct in front of our eyes.

AUTHOR’s NOTE: As soon as this synopsis is published, each chapter will be posted here on my blog every two hours

There’s only
One thing
To say
Three words
For you
I love you!

The Empty Bookshelf

Every aspiring author starts from an empty bookshelf.

The Empty Bookshelf

This is the bookshelf that I will try to fill as I pursue my ultimate goal in life – to become a published writer.

For now, it’s empty. But as soon as I publish a book, I will put the book cover on this bookshelf.

Who knows? In the near future, I might be needing another bookshelf.

About the Blogger

Lloyd P. Flores

Hi, I’m Lloyd P. Flores, a young aspiring writer from the Philippines.

Just last year, I graduated from a state university with the degree of BS Electronics and Communication Engineering. But after my college life, I’ve decided not to look for a job yet and chase after my other dream – to become a published writer. That’s my ultimate goal in life, and this blog ‘Empty Bookshelf’ will tell my journey towards my dream.

For now, I’m still looking for a publisher or literary agent who will help me publish my first ever novel “Chloe & Chleo” posted in this blog.

So wish me good luck, and thank you for visiting my blog.
